Added this sidewalk using bricks from an old fireplace.

The bricks were in a pile under the front porch. Lewis and the older boys hauled them out and I used them to make the sidewalk.

When we moved from the country in June 2006, we had to give away our chickens. This one hid in the woods and we didn't find her until afterward. Because the new owners didn't want chickens, we took her with us. She lived a full and happy life until one of the neighborhood dogs killed her.

The main part of the house was built circa 1885. An addition was added after the flood of 1993.
